When it comes to working in insurance, I tell people that I didn’t look for insurance—insurance found me! I never thought in a million years that I would ever be in this position, but here I am today! And I enjoy it! I love coming into work knowing that each day is a little bit different. I get to meet new people and learn a little bit about them as well as expand my knowledge in the insurance industry. My first insurance job was an agency out in Bellingham. I joined the Kelley Team in October 2012.
I was born and raised in Sumas and am grateful to be in living in a small town. In February 2013, my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful daughter, and in January 2016, blessed with a handsome little man. They are our whole world. Being a mom is the most rewarding job in the world and I am excited about our growing family. Outside of work, our little family enjoys many activities. We love going down to the Silvertips games in Everett whenever we can. Every so often we make spontaneous trips whenever we hear of a band that is playing or a hockey game that we must go and see. I love music. Occasionally, I play music or sing at my church. We like going camping and taking small road trips where we can crank the tunes. I truly value my family, therefore in anything and everything I do, I do for them with them.
Favorite Whatcom County activity:
My whole family participates in the Bellingham Relay for Life.
It’s nice getting together with my parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins
and fight for a cause that is so close to our hearts.
Basically, whenever I am on some sort of adventure with my family, it’s a good time.
Hand’s down, the Fall.
Beverage of choice:
You can never go wrong with Dr. Pepper and Water!
Do you prefer books or movies?
Both. Sometimes the book is WAY better than the movie.
Favorite inspirational quote
A lot of my favorite quotes, are from songs.
One of my many, many favorites, is from a song that Gary Allan performs:
“Life ain’t always beautiful, tears will fall sometimes,
life ain’t always beautiful, but it’s a beautiful ride.”
