# 2nd Quarter Referral Program

### For each referral you send our way, we are sending care packages to deployed Whatcom County soldiers through the Lynden VFW!

### Last year, your referrals enabled us to donate

- 46 packages of children's socks and underwear (the most needed items) to the **Sumas Community Clothesline**
- 44 bags of dog and cat food to the **Whatcom Humane Society**
- 70 carbon monoxide detectors to our local **Whatcom County Fire Departments** to donate to families in need
- 60 items including packages of diapers, children's books and movie tickets to **Lydia Place**
- 120 trees to the **Whatcom Land Trust** which we were fortunate enough to also help plant on site
